After more than 3,000 intensive lab tests on 820 women over a period of 18 months, the Good Housekeeping Research Institute team has announced the best anti aging products of 2010 in their first ever Anti Aging Awards. The test subjects ranged in ages from 35 – 85 and all varieties of skin types, complexions and different races were well represented in the study.
A quick summary of the study’s findings for the best anti aging products of 2010:
Best Anti Aging Eye Cream: Olay Professional Pro-X Eye Restoration Complex ($42). This worked very well for under-eye wrinkles and some women noticed a reduction in crow’s feet and puffiness.
Best Night Creams: There was a tie in this category:
- L’Oreal Paris Advanced RevitaLift ($20) did especially well on forehead wrinkles
- Vichy LiftActive Retinol HA Night ($42) did particularly well on fine lines around the nose and mouth
Best Anti Aging Serum: Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum ($23) achieved a nearly-perfect skin firming score in the tests.
Best Instant Wrinkle Filler Creams: This category had another tie:
- Olay Regenerist Filling & Sealing Wrinkle Treatment ($19), which was the best for forehead wrinkles
- Boots No7 Intensive Line Filler which performed the best around the eyes
